 
 In
1980 Aerolineas Argentinas was the first airline in the world to introduce
transantartic services from Argentina to New Zealand with a B747.
Today, the company has more than 150 weekly international flights,
they bring together three continents.
To
celebrate the soccer world-cup of 1998 Aerolineas Argentinas painted
one of their B747-200 aircraft with a special world-cup painting
showing several Argentinian soccer players together with the title
'Aerolineas, mas Argentina que nunca' (Aerolineas, more Agentina
than ever).
