About the T-34 kit:
One problem with early T-34 tanks was the inadequate protection given to commanders
in their turrets. They had to open their large, unwieldy hatches and look over
or around them in order to gain situational awareness. Obviously, this exposed
them to a great deal of peril on the battlefield. The T-34/76 Mod. 1943 tank
provided the commander with a cupola for the first time, offering the commander
all-round vision from within the safety of his turret.
